WIDIAN Rose Arabia Taifi is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2019. Rose Arabia Taifi opens with Bergamot and Mandarin, settles into a heart of Taif Rose, Rose, and Ylang-Ylang, and dries down to a base of Oud, Patchouli, Saffron, and Vanilla. WIDIAN's Rose Arabia Taifi carries an Acquired verdict, a fresh-led wear.

Divisive. Some hail it as a beautiful, gentle rose and oud, a more refined take on popular DNA. Others find it jarringly synthetic, too woody, or just plain cheap-smelling for its price point. Definitely sample before committing.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Fall Winter

Versatile across every season - no clear seasonal preference from wearers.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date Formal
Also Works:
Casual

Its long-lasting nature and strong sillage, coupled with a rich rose-oud profile, make it less suited for a close-quarters office environment. However, these qualities shine on a date or formal occasion, while some users find it surprisingly office-friendly due to a unique 'clean' oud note.

About

Rose Arabia Taifi opens with a bright, citrusy burst of bergamot and mandarin, quickly softening into the opulent heart of Taif and Bulgarian rose, enhanced by the creamy sweetness of ylang-ylang. The real drama unfolds in the base, where a sophisticated blend of oud and patchouli is sweetened by vanilla and praline, while saffron and ambergris add a luxurious, spicy warmth, sometimes leaning into a distinctive dry, clean, almost cereal-like quality.
