About Atenai London

Atenai London is a young London wellbeing house that treats fragrance as the starting point of self-care rather than the finishing touch. Founded around 2024 by Nuno da Silva, the brand grew out of his frustration at not being able to find a complete self-care range built around a single, consistent scent. The name is an homage to Athens, a nod to timeless elegance and wisdom, reworked through a contemporary London lens, and the first fragrances rolled out in 2025.

The house is built on three signature moods, each led by a perfume-grade fragrance and then carried across body care, hair care and home. Sanctuary pairs rose and frankincense for a calming, uplifting feel; Oasis balances bergamot and sandalwood; Blossom lifts orange blossom and amber over cedarwood and soft musk. The compositions are soft and wellbeing-led, favouring classic, easy-to-wear pairings over loud statement accords, so one cohesive atmosphere can run from a morning shower to an evening wind-down.

Atenai sits in premium indie territory, with a 50ml eau de parfum around 60 pounds and a wider ecosystem of washes, lotions, candles and reed diffusers. The whole range is vegan and cruelty-free, and its fragrance quality is recognised in the Michael Edwards Fragrances of the World database. It is direct-to-consumer first, with growing reach through the Superdrug marketplace and wholesale, and will appeal to anyone who wants a calm, considered scent world rather than a single standout bottle.

Brand Evolution

Founded in London around 2024 by Nuno da Silva after he could not find a self-care range built around one consistent fragrance. Atenai launched with three signature moods - Sanctuary, Oasis and Blossom - each expressed across eau de parfum, body care, hair care and home. The fragrances rolled out in 2025, and distribution has widened from the brand's own store to the Superdrug marketplace and wholesale, positioning Atenai as a young fragrance-led wellbeing house scaling a tightly focused catalogue.

Quick Verdict

A young London wellbeing house that makes scent the starting point, not the finish. Best if you want one calming mood to run through your whole day, from perfume to candle.
