Turkish Perfume Brands
Turkish perfume begins at the front door: many Turkish homes offer guests kolonya, a cologne traditionally scented with fig blossom, jasmine, rose or citrus. Isparta, in western Turkey, is known for its roses and attar of roses, Britannica notes, and Turkish cosmetics makers are now investing in new production with export markets in mind. The Turkish houses below include Nishane, Atelier Rebul, Régalien and Mes Bisous.

The perfume market in Turkey
Kolonya grew out of cologne imported from Germany in the 19th century and went on to replace rosewater as the country's main fragrance. Rosewater is still one of Isparta's main economic activities.
Turkish cosmetics makers are putting money into technology and new production lines to win more of a growing perfume market, Timeturk reports, among them makers of kolonya, body sprays and room scents.
