Lovely Eau de Parfum vs Serenity Extrait
ScentArt
Which Should You Buy?
This anniversary edition is what the original Lovely by SJP should have been all along. It's the same beloved scent, but dialled up a notch, with richer musk and better longevity. If you loved the classic, you'll adore this perfected version.
Serenity is Aromara's 35% Extrait take on Initio Parfums Privés Rehab, the lavender-tobacco fragrance beloved for its calming, sophisticated profile. It captures the lavender-bergamot opening and patchouli-musk-vanilla base reasonably well, but comes across noticeably less smooth and layered than Rehab's celebrated European lavender-and-tobacco balance, with less of the original's creamy sandalwood depth.
