About

Nostalgia opens on a candied violet note that feels bright and slightly synthetic compared to the original's velvety texture, before a rose duo of Bulgarian and Turkish rose takes over the heart. The oud here reads smoother and less smoky than MFK's Laotian oud, favouring an approachable sweetness. As it dries down, vanilla, benzoin and amber build a warm, ambery musk base that lingers for a few hours rather than MFK's famous all-day performance. It projects loudly for the first hour then settles close to skin, making it a decent evening rose-oud for anyone curious about the genre without committing to the designer price tag.
