A base of dried fruits and warm woody notes closes the composition, mirroring the original's cured-tobacco-and-dessert character. Where it falls short is texture: the real Tobacco Vanille builds a thick, almost syrupy resinous depth that clings to skin for twelve-plus hours, while this version is noticeably lighter and fades to a soft skin scent well before that mark. Still, for the price, it's a faithful sketch of a beloved gourmand-tobacco composition, and a good way to sample the vibe before committing to the designer original.
