Alexandria UK Zion INTENSE is an Eau de Parfum. Zion INTENSE opens with Lemon, Mandarin, and Apple, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Pepper, and Ivy, and dries down to a base of Woody, Amber, and Sandalwood. Alexandria UK's Zion INTENSE carries an Acquired verdict, a citrus-led wear.

Zion Intense chases Roja's Elysium Eau Intense with a bigger, brighter mandarin-lemon opening and a woody-amber base. It captures the loud citrus rush well, but the mid-section reads flatter and less layered than the original, and the performance tapers off faster than the name promises.

About

Zion Intense leads with an amplified rush of mandarin, lemon and a crisp green apple accord, aiming squarely at Roja's citrus-forward Elysium Eau Intense. A cool, green ivy note and a spark of white pepper carry the middle, with jasmine adding a touch of floral polish, before the fragrance settles onto sandalwood, amber and dry woods. The opening is genuinely strong and true to the inspiration, delivering the same electrifying citrus burst reviewers praise in the original, but the transition into the base is where the gap shows: Zion's woods and amber feel more one-note and less resinous than Elysium's complex galbanum-vetiver-leather drydown, and the whole composition reads flatter on the skin over time. Longevity is decent for a budget alternative but well short of the all-day performance the original is known for, with the loudest phase concentrated in the first couple of hours. Suits a confident daytime signature scent for the office or a casual outing where the punchy opening does the work; those who love Elysium Eau Intense for its slow-building depth will still notice Zion Intense wearing thinner by the afternoon.
