About

Amouage Purpose opens with a powerful, invigorating blast of black and pimiento peppers, underscored by bright bergamot and a pronounced, almost medicinal frankincense. As it settles, a dry, earthy core emerges with vetiver and papyrus, softened by a touch of rose and creamy sandalwood. The robust woody and warm spicy accords are persistent, evolving into a leathery, saffron-kissed dry down with the distinctive, often polarising akigalawood.
