Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Film Noir has no split into top, heart and base, only a single list of fifteen notes. Lavender, neroli, rose and iris provide a floral and aromatic side, while allspice adds spice and honey, tonka bean and vanilla add sweetness. Oakmoss, vetiver, patchouli, oud, Buddha wood and choya loban bring dry woods, resin and earth, and civet adds an animalic edge. The overall picture is a dark, dense and sweet-woody scent, one for evenings.
