No.341 is Eden's version of Amouage's Guidance, a niche fragrance that pairs ripe fruit and sacred incense for an opening that's both gourmand and spiritual. It starts with pear, hazelnut and olibanum, moves into a sensual floral heart of osmanthus, rose, saffron and jasmine sambac, and settles into a warm, resinous base of sandalwood, vanilla, akigalawood and labdanum. The dupe captures the fruity-incense opening convincingly and the warm resinous base is present throughout, but it lacks the slow unfolding that makes the Amouage original feel so considered - the transitions between the fruity top, the spiced floral heart and the ambery base happen faster and blend together rather than emerging in distinct stages. It's a recreation designed to offer that calming, incense-driven sophistication without Amouage's price tag, and for evening wear where you want warmth and a hint of spiritual gravitas rather than the full six-hour journey of the original, it does the job convincingly enough.
