Jubilee Scents JM16 - Myrrh and Tonka is an Eau de Parfum. JM16 - Myrrh and Tonka opens with Lavender, settles into a heart of Myrrh, and dries down to a base of Vanilla, Tonka Bean, and Almond. Jubilee Scents's JM16 - Myrrh and Tonka carries a Statement verdict, a warm spicy-led wear.

A simple but faithful take on Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka's lavender-myrrh-tonka shape, a little flatter and less resinous than the original but recognisably in the same family.

About

JM16 follows Jo Malone's Myrrh & Tonka closely note-for-note: a lavender top, a myrrh heart, and a tonka, vanilla and almond base. This is a genuinely minimal fragrance in its original form, which works in this dupe's favour - there's less complexity to lose in translation, and the warm, resinous myrrh-tonka pairing that made the original a Jo Malone bestseller comes through clearly. The resin does read a touch thinner and less luxurious than the real thing, and the cologne-strength original's gentle sillage means this version fades even faster, but it's one of the more convincing dupes in the Jubilee range for the price.
