Naughton & Wilson Arezzo is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2024, created by John Stephen. Arezzo opens with Bergamot and Mandarin, settles into a heart of Brandy, Spicy Notes, Iris, and Labdanum, and dries down to a base of Cambodian Oud, Musk, Patchouli, and Tobacco. Naughton & Wilson's Arezzo carries an Acquired verdict, a fresh-led wear.

A boozy brandy and plum heart over mandarin, with tobacco, incense, Cambodian oud and ambergris below. Opulent, strong and long lasting, a winter and autumn evening scent that wearers call gentlemanly and refined.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Autumn Winter
Also Works:
Spring

Winter and autumn lead the votes by a wide margin, which suits a boozy, tobacco and oud blend. Spring is a distant third and summer barely registers.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date Formal

Night votes lead and evening and night out top the Parfumo votes, which suits an opulent, strong scent. It works for work in a pinch but is a poor fit for casual or sport wear.

About

Arezzo is named for the Tuscan city of gold and high fashion, and the brand calls it a tribute that combines opulence and elegance in equal measure: decadence meeting refinement. It opens with a vibrant citrus of mandarin and bergamot, which wearers describe as a burst of spiced citrus. The heart is brandy, with plum, spices, labdanum and orris butter, and the base is smooth tobacco, incense, Cambodian oud, patchouli, musk and ambergris. Wearers describe plum brandy in an old, dusty library, then a very gentlemanly and refined base where the tobacco layers with incense. The oud and ambergris divide opinion: some find a barnyard animalic edge and others find a smooth, woody blend with no skank at all. Performance is strong. Most votes call it long lasting, with strong projection, and wearers report it lasting all day. It is a clear winter and autumn scent for evenings and dates, and works for formal occasions. It is too heavy for summer and sport. The brand sells the 100 ml bottle at 140 pounds, a price most voters find fair or good value. It suits wearers who want a mature, boozy tobacco scent with real presence, and who do not mind that some call the style a little dated.
