Flowerbomb Attar

Flowerbomb Attar copies Viktor&Rolf's grenade-bottled classic, a fragrance whose entire concept is an oversized burst of white flowers - jasmine, freesia and orange blossom - detonating over a sweet patchouli-musk base. The dupe reproduces that floral heart faithfully: jasmine is prominent and unmistakable, with freesia adding a green-floral lift, and the patchouli-musk base gives it the same warm, sweet finish the original is loved for. What's missing is the scale the name promises. The spray original is famous for genuinely filling a room, with reviewers describing it as almost aggressively floral in the best way; this oil stays close and personal, more a soft bouquet than an explosion. Longevity holds up reasonably well thanks to the oil format, but the projection that gives Flowerbomb its confidence is simply not there. Anyone wanting a gentler, more discreet version of that jasmine-patchouli-vanilla signature for a fraction of the price will find this a fair trade.
