Pearl Fragrances Tobacco Vanille Attar is a perfume oil. Tobacco Vanille Attar opens with Cinnamon and Tobacco, settles into a heart of Dark Chocolate, Vanilla, and Tonka Bean, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood and Dried Fruits. Pearl Fragrances's Tobacco Vanille Attar carries an Acquired verdict, a tobacco-led wear.

Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille is one of the most cloned fragrances of the last decade, and this oil version leans into the sweet vanilla-tonka side of it hard, while the dry tobacco leaf that anchors the original comes through noticeably softer and less textured.

About

Tobacco Vanille Attar takes on Tom Ford's signature spiced gourmand, a fragrance built on the contrast between dry, leafy tobacco and a rich vanilla-tonka sweetness. This oil gets the sweetness right and then some - the vanilla, tonka bean and cacao arrive early and stay generous throughout the wear, arguably louder than in the original's more measured build. What's missing is the tobacco leaf's actual dryness and slight bitterness, the note that stops the real Tobacco Vanille from tipping into dessert territory; here it reads more like a sweet spice than an actual leaf. The dried fruit and sandalwood base adds a bit of weight but doesn't bring the same layered richness. Longevity is limited, as with any oil, and the loud sweetness fades to a soft skin scent within a few hours rather than lingering for the original's famous all-day presence. Still, for the price, it captures the mood - warm, indulgent, a little decadent - even if the balance tips too far towards candy and away from tobacco.
