Card Wander Green takes the Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade blueprint - juicy raspberry and geranium over resinous oud, sweetened with rose, benzoin and amberwood, deepened by saffron, incense and smoky birch - and threads in a green, slightly resinous cannabis note for an unexpected herbal edge. The result is the familiar fruity-rose-oud signature with a darker, weedy twist that sets it apart from the standard version. Perfume Parlour's blend captures that opulent-yet-edgy character. Against the original Ombre Nomade it reads simpler and skin-closer - the oud less velvety, the smoke gentler, and projection short of the legendary sillage the real thing is known for. Longevity is moderate. A bold, unusual budget oud for cold-weather evenings.
