Heart Water opens with a sparkling citrus burst - bergamot, Amalfi lemon and bright neroli - that echoes the effervescent, champagne-like start of Dior J'adore L'eau Cologne Florale. A soft lemony magnolia takes the centre, lifted by a whisper of ylang-ylang, for that clean, uplifting floral character that made the original feel like spring sunshine. A light musk rounds off the airy drydown. Where the discontinued Dior is polished and elegantly transparent, this budget version reads a touch simpler and more linear, the magnolia slightly less luminous. It stays close and clean rather than projecting boldly. Projection is soft and longevity is modest at three to five hours, in line with the light original. It is a refreshing, feel-good citrus floral for spring and summer daytime, office and casual wear, and an affordable way to revisit a much-loved discontinued Dior.
