About

Majestic Amber opens loud and spice-forward, a swirl of saffron, cinnamon and pink pepper over a soft rose-and-ylang floral edge. The heart is where the amber DNA takes hold: smoky frankincense wraps a glowing sweet-amber accord, with jasmine adding a touch of bloom. The drydown is classic Arabian-oriental territory, with ambergris, sandalwood, cedar, patchouli and labdanum melting into a vanillic, resinous base. Compared to the rich original, this Perfume Parlour version reads flatter and a touch sweeter, trading some of the creamy, near-overwhelming sillage for a warmth that sits closer to the skin. Even so, it delivers the opulent, souk-spice character at a fraction of the cost. Longevity is respectable and the projection settles after the first hour, making it an indulgent autumn and winter scent for evenings, dates and dressed-up occasions.
