Phenomenal Gold opens bright and a little spicy with pink pepper and mandarin, a sparkling lift before the florals take over. The heart is rich and opulent - tuberose, jasmine and ylang-ylang lit with a sunny solar accord - leading into a creamy, sweet base of vanilla and tonka with a touch of moss for grip. Against Paco Rabanne's Lady Million Fabulous, this dupe gets the dark-flashy sweet-floral DNA right and keeps the glamorous, sensual character, but the original's strong opening projection and lush radiance are dialled back here, leaving a more linear, skin-close wear with somewhat shorter longevity. It is a confident, flirtatious evening floral - bold enough for date nights, sweet enough for casual glam - delivering much of the original's sparkle at a budget price.
