Resilient opens fruity and bright with white peach, white currant and a pink-pepper sparkle over creamy vanilla and lilac, mirroring the original's tender overture. The heart turns soft and powdery with iris, tuberose, neroli, geranium and lily-of-the-valley - clean and cool-beautiful - before a base of sandalwood, patchouli, ambergris and white musk gives a gentle, slightly woody finish. Against Tiziana Terenzi's Afrodite, this dupe gets the polite, powdery fruity-floral DNA right and keeps that effortlessly sexy softness, but the original's enormous sillage and roughly ten-hour wear are dialled back here, leaving a more intimate, skin-close version. Longevity is moderate. It is an elegant, romantic everyday floral - clean enough for the office, pretty enough for date nights - delivering much of the niche original's charm at a budget price.
