Sensible II opens with the spicy citrus brightness Sauvage Parfum is known for - juicy mandarin and bergamot lifted by resinous elemi. From there it deepens quickly, with creamy Sri Lankan sandalwood at the heart and a warm, sweet drydown of vanilla, smoky olibanum and soft tonka. Compared with the lighter EDT and EDP versions, the Parfum's cozy, oriental sweetness is the draw, and this dupe captures that warm, comforting character in outline. It wears flatter and more linear, though, the genuine Parfum's rich projection softened to a skin-near glow with moderate longevity. The result is a sensual, warm-spicy-woody scent that suits cooler weather and evenings out, with enough polish for the office - a wallet-friendly way to wear the sweetest, most grown-up face of Sauvage.
