SMEL. J'adore is an Eau de Parfum. J'adore opens with Bergamot, Ylang-Ylang, and Pear, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, and Lily Of The Valley, and dries down to a base of Musk, Cedar, and Plum. SMEL.'s J'adore carries an Acquired verdict, a floral-led wear.

Copycat's J'adore leans on a brighter, pear-forward opening than Dior's radiant jasmine-rose original, and the musk-plum base wears thinner and closer to skin than the real J'adore's rounded, champagne-like sillage.

About

SMEL.' J'adore takes on Dior's modern floral icon. The top opens with ylang-ylang, bergamot and pear, a fruitier and slightly more immediate entrance than the original's famous pear-and-mandarin freshness. The heart carries jasmine, rose and lily-of-the-valley, aiming for the same radiant white-floral bouquet Dior built the fragrance around, though it reads a touch simpler and less layered than the real thing's champagne-like glow. The base of musk, plum and cedarwood offers a soft, warm finish rather than the original's fuller musky-woody depth, and fades sooner - a few hours shorter than J'adore's typical 6-8 hour wear. Still, it delivers a recognisably radiant, feminine floral for a fraction of the price, well suited to office wear or daytime dates where a bright, elegant floral is wanted without the need for all-day projection.
