The opening is a juicy rush of black cherry, bitter almond and boozy liqueur, tracking the original's seductive, sweet-and-sharp entrance closely, if a touch louder and more immediate. The heart brings rose and jasmine sambac, softening the fruit with a floral undertone the way the real Lost Cherry does, though with less nuance. The base of tonka bean, Peru balsam and sandalwood aims for the same warm, boozy gourmand finish, but reads simpler and fades sooner than the original's rich, spiced drydown, which reviewers note can run 8-10 hours on some skin.
