The Perfumer's Story by Azzi Fever 54 is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2015, created by Azzi Glasser. Fever 54 settles into a heart of Davana, Rose, Ylang-Ylang, and Saffron, and dries down to a base of Woody Notes, Musk, Powdery, and Oud. The Perfumer's Story by Azzi's Fever 54 carries an Acquired verdict, a floral-led wear.

An opulent, animalic rose: May rose, saffron, davana and ylang-ylang over oud, benzoin, powdery musk and soft woods. Provocative, glamorous and warm, it suits autumn and winter evenings.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

Autumn and winter are the only seasons named, which suits a warm rose with oud, benzoin and saffron. The votes are very few, so spring and summer are set low from the notes rather than from votes.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date
Also Works:
Formal

Votes name evening and night out, and the brand sells it as a night of seduction, so date and evening wear lead. It is too opulent and animalic for the office or the gym.

About

Fever 54 is the brand's rose with the safety off. It is sold as a 30 ml eau de parfum, was one of the eleven limited editions of 2015, and is pitched at a night without limits: flair, seduction and a little sorcery. May rose leads the heart, with saffron, davana and ylang-ylang adding spice and an opulent floral weight. Oud, benzoin, musk, powdery notes and woods sit underneath and give it warmth, depth and an animalic edge. The one wearer account describes spicy, fresh rose that warms and mellows into soft wood notes, not at all sweet, at once very sophisticated and glamorous and strangely comforting, and enjoys the way it changes on the skin. The few votes call wear moderate in both length and reach, with autumn and winter the only seasons named and evening and night out the occasions. The reach is moderate rather than room-filling, so it sits close enough for dinner. It is not an office or gym scent. Fever 54 is listed for women. Reception is mixed but leans warm, with four of eleven voters loving it and two disliking it, and voters split on price, two calling it fair and two overpriced. It is a rose for wearers who like it dark, spiced and a touch animalic, and who are happy to wear something that announces itself.
