The Perfumer's Story by Azzi Kingsman TGC is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2017, created by Azzi Glasser. Kingsman TGC opens with Earl Grey Tea, Neroli, Bay Leaf, and Elemi, settles into a heart of Vetiver, Clary Sage, Rum, and Tobacco Blossom, and dries down to a base of Oud. The Perfumer's Story by Azzi's Kingsman TGC carries a Favourite verdict, a woody-led wear.

A tailored tea-and-vetiver scent made for the Kingsman film: Earl Grey and neroli over vetiver, rum, tobacco blossom and a restrained touch of oud. Debonair, refined and close to the skin, best in autumn.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Kingsman TGC is a spy-film fragrance that keeps its manners. It was made by Azzi Glasser with the director Matthew Vaughn for Kingsman: The Golden Circle, launched to coincide with the film's release in September 2017, and it was sold as a limited edition 30 ml eau de parfum. It opens on English Earl Grey tea and neroli with bay leaf and elemi, then turns to a heart of vetiver, clary sage, rum and tobacco blossom, with a small amount of oud underneath. Reviewers hear a noticeable tea note and a gentle bitterness from English tea, then a very strong woody rum note underlined by tobacco and plenty of vetiver that turns the scent dark green. The oud is restrained and fades gently, and one wearer finds the tea and tobacco blossom evoke an old English library. It wears close to the skin, a purr rather than a roar. Votes and wearers call the length and reach moderate, and one wishes it lasted longer. Autumn leads the season votes on both platforms, with winter and spring next, and daily, business and evening wear all get votes. It is listed for men, though a wearer recommends it to women who like to make a strong statement quietly. Opinion is warm, with six of twelve voters loving it, and it is a distinctive, tailored alternative to the usual spy-film oriental.
