Jubilation 40 Man is a divisive beast. For some, it's a regal, opulent masterpiece, an improvement on its predecessor. For others, it's a camphor-laden disappointment, not worth the hefty price tag. It's rich, complex, and will definitely get people talking, one way or another.

Elixir Absolu Intense follows Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male Elixir Absolu, the smoother, plummier evolution of the gourmand powerhouse. The dark plum opening over lavender, tonka and benzoin reads recognisably, though the dupe flattens the refined balsamic depth and fades faster than the original.
