Alexandria UK Aromatic Conflict is an Eau de Parfum. Aromatic Conflict opens with Oregano, Bergamot, and Pepper, settles into a heart of Amber, Labdanum, Incense, and Opoponax, and dries down to a base of Leather, Sandalwood, Oud, and Patchouli. Alexandria UK's Aromatic Conflict carries an Acquired verdict, a smoky-led wear.

Aromatic Conflict is Alexandria UK's Extrait de Parfum take on Amouage's Interlude Man. The smoky incense-oregano opening and resinous amber heart land close to the original's chaotic spice, but the dupe flattens Interlude's layered evolution into a louder, more linear burn with shorter legs on skin.

About

Aromatic Conflict opens with a genuinely startling collision: smoky incense crashes into sharp oregano and a spark of bergamot before black pepper pulls everything into a simmering, resinous heart. Amber and labdanum thicken the middle, and opoponax adds a molten, honeyed edge that keeps the composition from feeling one-note. The base is where the dupe house leans hardest into performance - rugged leather, oud, patchouli and sandalwood are pushed forward at Extrait concentration, giving eight honest hours of wear. Compared to Amouage's original, the transitions here are more abrupt and the smoke reads slightly synthetic rather than resinous, but the bones of the composition - spice, incense, leather - are unmistakably the same idea rendered at a fraction of the price. This is a fragrance for cold-weather evenings when you want to announce yourself before you've said a word; it is not subtle, and it isn't trying to be.
