Alexandria UK H'ANI is an Eau de Parfum. H'ANI opens with Green, Bergamot, Pink Pepper, and Ginger, settles into a heart of Rose, Cardamom, and Blackcurrant, and dries down to a base of Cedar, Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Vanilla. Alexandria UK's H'ANI carries an Acquired verdict, a vanilla-led wear.

A budget take on Ani by Nishane, chasing the same photorealistic ginger-bergamot opening into a rich vanilla-spice dry-down. The blackcurrant and rose heart is simpler and the vanilla base less creamy-textured than the original, and it fades faster, but it captures the sweet-spicy silhouette at a fraction of the price.

About

H'ANI is Alexandria UK's tribute to Ani, Nishane's cult vanilla-spice extrait de parfum. It opens the same way as its reference: a zesty, photorealistic blast of ginger and bergamot given a sharp edge by pink pepper and a whisper of green notes. The heart trades some of the original's complexity for a more direct pairing of juicy blackcurrant and warm cardamom, with Turkish rose standing in for the fuller floral layering found in the real thing. The dry-down is where the resemblance is strongest: a rich, creamy vanilla accord deepened by benzoin, sandalwood, cedar, ambergris and patchouli, echoing Ani's legendary vanilla-forward finish. Where it differs from the original is in texture and stamina - this version reads a touch flatter and louder in the first hour, with less of the mineralic ambergris nuance that makes the real Ani feel three-dimensional, and its trail settles into the background sooner. Still, for anyone chasing that spiced-vanilla signature without the niche price tag, it lands close enough to satisfy on skin.
