Blossom Perfumery 544 So Elixir Purple is an Eau de Parfum. 544 So Elixir Purple opens with Bergamot, settles into a heart of Vetiver and Tuberose, and dries down to a base of Woody Notes, Patchouli, Tonka Bean, and Benzoin. Blossom Perfumery's 544 So Elixir Purple carries a Favourite verdict, a fresh-led wear.

544 leans on Yves Rocher So Elixir Purple's milky-honeyed tuberose and vetiver pairing, but the smoky incense-patchouli base is flatter and the tuberose reads less creamy, closing down to a soft musk-woody finish sooner than the original.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

544 opens simply with bergamot before the tuberose and vetiver heart takes over, echoing the honeyed, slightly milky tuberose that defines Yves Rocher So Elixir Purple. The pairing works reasonably well on first application, giving a similar sense of smoky, herbal contrast to the tuberose's sweetness. The base, though, is where the two diverge most: the original's patchouli, incense, benzoin and woody notes build a genuinely complex, smoky-resinous drydown, while this version's version of the same notes feels thinner and less layered, settling into a generic woody-amber finish within a couple of hours. It captures the tuberose-vetiver concept at a fraction of the price but misses the depth and slow evolution that give the original its seductive, long-wearing character.
