Vanilla Majesty

Patchouli takes the lead through the heart alongside tonka bean, before an amber, oud and brown sugar base closes things out with real warmth. The overall gourmand-woody shape is a fair match for the original, which is widely described as the deepest and darkest fragrance in Kayali's vanilla range. Where it differs is texture: reviewers of the real Kayali note that its patchouli has an unusual mint-like brightness rather than the heavier, earthier patchouli most people expect, and that particular sparkle doesn't fully carry over here, leaving a slightly more conventional sweet-patchouli gourmand in its place.
