Wanted Dead or Adored takes clear aim at Azzaro The Most Wanted's most distinctive feature, its rich, gooey toffee accord, and gets it right: the cardamom-spiced opening and caramelised toffee heart are close cousins of the original. Orange blossom adds a soft floral lift in the middle that the Azzaro doesn't have, giving this version a touch more brightness before the sweetness takes over. The base is where the two part ways most clearly - The Most Wanted relies on a relatively restrained amberwood to keep the toffee in check, while this leans harder into vanilla and tonka bean, pushing the whole composition into gourmand territory rather than the original's warm-spicy balance. It is a sweeter, more indulgent read on the same idea, one that fans of the toffee accord specifically should find very recognisable even if the drydown drifts further from the source.
