Eden Perfumes No.209 Halfeti is a Parfum. No.209 Halfeti opens with Bergamot, Grapefruit, Cypress, and Cardamom, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, and Nutmeg, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, Cedar, and Sandalwood. Eden Perfumes's No.209 Halfeti carries an Acquired verdict, a woody-led wear.

No.209 recreates Penhaligon's Halfeti, a spiced rose-and-oud niche fragrance. The saffron-rose-oud skeleton is all present and correctly proportioned, but the dupe compresses the original's long, layered evolution into a faster, simpler wear with less of Halfeti's smoky oud depth.

About

No.209 is Eden's take on Penhaligon's Halfeti, a rich spiced rose-oud fragrance named for the Turkish town famous for its black roses. It opens with bergamot, grapefruit, cardamom, saffron, cypress and artemisia for a complex, spiced citrus lift, moves into a rose and jasmine heart warmed by nutmeg, and finishes on a dense base of cedar, oud, sandalwood, amber, musk, tonka bean and vanilla. All the signature elements of the original are here - the saffron-rose pairing and the oud-driven base both come through clearly - but the composition moves faster and flatter than Penhaligon's original, which is built to unfold gradually over many hours. This version settles into its final oud-amber character sooner and with less smoky depth, trading some of Halfeti's brooding complexity for a more straightforward spiced-woody wear. It's still a strong choice for anyone wanting a rose-oud fragrance with real presence for cold-weather evenings, delivering much of the mood at a fraction of the niche price, even if dedicated Halfeti fans will notice the shorter, simpler journey.
