Jubilee Scents TF29 - Oud Wood is an Eau de Parfum. TF29 - Oud Wood opens with Rosewood, Sichuan Pepper, and Cardamom, settles into a heart of Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Oud, and dries down to a base of Amber, Vanilla, and Tonka Bean. Jubilee Scents's TF29 - Oud Wood carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

A budget take on Tom Ford Oud Wood - the rosewood-cardamom opening and creamy sandalwood-vetiver heart are recognisable, but the smoky oud reads thinner and the whole thing fades faster than the original's all-day presence.

The warm oud, amber and tonka base reads as cold-weather comfort; too heavy and sweet for hot months.

About

Jubilee Scents' TF29 is built to echo Tom Ford's Oud Wood, one of the Private Blend line's most-copied fragrances. It opens on rosewood and cardamom with a dusting of Chinese pepper, moving into a smoky oud heart softened by creamy sandalwood and earthy vetiver, before settling into a warm tonka, vanilla and amber base. The shape of the original is there - the same woody-oud spine and sweet, resinous drydown - but at this price point the oud accord leans more generic and the projection is noticeably lighter. Where the real Oud Wood lingers for eight-plus hours with real depth, this dupe is closer to a two or three hour taste of the idea, best applied generously and reapplied through the day. A fair way to try the genre before committing to the niche price tag, not a one-to-one substitute for it.
