Lush V is an Eau de Parfum launched in 1995, created by Mark Constantine. V opens with Ylang-Ylang, settles into a heart of Violet, and dries down to a base of Cedar and Clove. Lush's V carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

V is a divisive, gothic violet, smoky and spiced, with a pronounced Dr. Pepper accord for many. Not a safe blind buy, but for those who love its weirdness, it's a cult classic that delivers a unique, moody floral experience.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

Also Works:
Casual Formal

With moderate longevity and sillage, V isn't overwhelming but its unique, gothic character might be too much for a formal office setting. It shines in more intimate, relaxed, or evening contexts where its distinctive scent can be appreciated.

About

Opens with an intriguing, almost aldehydic greenness, quickly transitioning to a dominant, dark violet heart. This isn't your sweet, powdery Parma Violet, but a more melancholic, vegetal floral, often paired with an unexpected fizzy, almost Dr. Pepper-like accord. As it dries down, the earthiness of cedar and the warm spice of clove emerge, grounding the violet in a smoky, woody embrace, creating a 'posh goth' vibe with remarkable depth.
