Avalanche Silk for Women

Avalanche Silk opens rich and exotic: a sensual saffron threads through fruity osmanthus and creamy magnolia - the seductive signature of Creed's Queen of Silk (2024). The heart is a green, buttery tuberose, devoid of sugar, melting into peppery patchouli, a smoky agarwood and a juicy passionfruit that keeps it from turning heavy. The base is warm and opulent: Madagascar vanilla, ambroxan, resinous myrrh, incense, musk and cedarwood. Perfume Parlour's interpretation captures Queen of Silk's saffron-and-tuberose, mature femme-fatale character convincingly, but it reads a fraction flatter, the saffron-suede depth and the dark woods thinner and less refined than the niche original. Where Queen of Silk boasts excellent longevity and projection, here it is more moderate. The effect stays sensual and grown-up - a saffron-floral amber-oud for autumn, winter and cool spring, at home on evenings, dates and dressier occasions.
