This is Perfume Parlour's budget interpretation of Memo Paris Ithaque, one of the most loved fresh-green niche releases. It opens sharp and exhilarating - bergamot and bitter orange lifted by a triple hit of sichuan, madagascar and pink pepper, that phenomenal citrus-spice burst. The heart turns subtly fruity with currant buds, red currant, raspberry and juniper berries, a soft touch of Egyptian jasmine keeping it balanced and never too floral. The drydown is the original's signature: a creamy, soapy Texas cedar grounded by earthy patchouli. Ithaque is a performance star, lasting 7-to-9 hours with balanced projection; the dupe keeps the citrus-to-cedar arc but renders the opening less crisp and the cedar thinner, with wear pulled in close. For an inexpensive, fresh-woody daily that nods to a niche compliment-getter, it captures the mood for the money.
