Miss D is Scentleys' extrait take on Dior's Miss Dior Eau de Parfum, the 2017 reformulation that reoriented the historic house name around a fresh, rosy chypre-floral. The dupe opens with a citrusy mandarin and blood orange burst, moving quickly into the composition's core: a rose and peony heart lifted by a hint of grapefruit blossom, which is the part of Miss Dior most wearers recognise instantly. The base settles on patchouli and musk, aiming for the soft, slightly powdery rose-patchouli finish that gives the original its polished, grown-up floral character. Miss D captures the citrus-rose opening well, and the overall shape - bright then softly floral then musky - tracks the original closely enough to be recognisable at a glance. Where it diverges is texture: Dior's rose has a slightly green, dewy freshness alongside the sweetness, and the patchouli in the real Miss Dior adds a textured, almost woody-earthy depth that Scentleys' simpler patchouli-musk base does not fully reach. Performance is respectable for an oil extrait, five to six hours with moderate, close projection. A pleasant, wearable rosy-floral for everyday and date wear that leans sweeter and simpler than the polished designer original.
