This one's a proper head-scratcher. Gorgeous, unique blend of saffron and woods, but Jo Malone's usual tricks mean it vanishes quicker than your hopes of finding a full-sized bottle at a decent price. Loved by many, but its shocking performance will have you fuming.

A dark, mineral take on Amouage Purpose 50 - frankincense and pepper over papyrus, sandalwood and suede with saffron warmth. Perfume Parlour captures the smoky woody-leather DNA but, against a 50% extrait, lands noticeably flatter and shorter-lived, missing the original's three-dimensional depth.
