This one's a proper head-scratcher. Sherwood is less 'forest fantasy' and more 'creamy sandalwood enigma'. Some reckon it's a smooth, comforting dream, others find it a nauseating, persistent nightmare. Definitely one to sample, as it clearly hits different for everyone.

This isn't your average 'Oriental' fragrance. Nobile 1942's 1001 is a divisive scent: some find it a sublime, elegant spicy-woody blend, while others are put off by dominant, realistic turmeric and ginger that can smell a bit like savoury cooking spices or even soap. Definitely one to sample first.
