The heart moves into a softer floral territory than the reference, with delicate violet and rich Chinese osmanthus standing in for the original's more abstract mineral-leather accord. The base is where the resemblance is clearest: Akigalawood brings the same magnetic, slightly metallic woodiness that defines the real Ganymede, while immortelle absolute adds a spicy-sweet warmth reminiscent of its long-lasting trail. What is missing at this price is the original's uncanny, almost printed-magazine-page mineral coldness and its more textured, evolving dry-down - this version settles faster into a simpler wood-and-floral finish rather than staying unpredictable for hours.
