522 | Inspired by Ambre Nuit opens with a soft citrus lift of bergamot and grapefruit before giving way to a rose-forward heart accented with pink pepper, a faithful echo of the original's sensual, wrapped-in-amber character. The base leans on ambergris, guaiac wood, cedar and patchouli to deliver the warm, velvety trail Dior's Ambre Nuit is known for, though it reads noticeably lighter and less resinous, losing some of the plush, long-lasting depth of the real thing. It still works well as a unisex evening scent, with the rose staying present and pleasant for a good few hours before settling into a soft, ambery skin scent.
