Dame Perfumery Chilehead is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2019, created by Jeffrey Dame. Chilehead opens with Chili, Bergamot, Lime, and Cumin, settles into a heart of Neroli, Geranium, Ylang-Ylang, and Galbanum, and dries down to a base of Musk, Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Patchouli. Dame Perfumery's Chilehead carries an Acquired verdict, a green-led wear.

Chilehead is a strange scent that starts with chili, cumin and celery and ends in birch tar, civet and incense. It is loud, savoury and not made to be liked by everyone. If you want something truly different it delivers; if you want easy, look elsewhere.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Chilehead opens with chili, lime and peppermint alongside celery, cumin, thyme and bergamot, a sharp, savoury and herbal start. The heart brings galbanum, artemisia, ylang-ylang, geranium and neroli, mixing green bitterness with floral sweetness. The base is deep and animalic, with vetiver, oakmoss, birch tar, civet, castoreum, musk, patchouli, myrrh, labdanum, sandalwood and frankincense. It is a dense, smoky and spicy unisex scent with a lot of edge.
