Cedarwood and petitgrain carry the heart, echoing the original's cashmere-wood freshness, before settling into oakmoss, musk and a light amber base. The opening apple-and-citrus burst is close, and it's the easiest part of Greenley to replicate. Where it comes up short is the drydown: Greenley's oakmoss-cedar combination is often described as meditative and unusually long-lasting for a fresh fragrance, holding real presence for eight hours or more, while this version's base is noticeably lighter and settles into a simpler, quieter woody musk well before that mark.
