Jubilee Scents GU96 - Gucchi Envy Women is an Eau de Parfum. GU96 - Gucchi Envy Women opens with Bergamot, Magnolia, Freesia, and Peach, settles into a heart of Hyacinth, Rose, Jasmine, and Iris, and dries down to a base of Musk, Cedar, Sandalwood, and Oakmoss. Jubilee Scents's GU96 - Gucchi Envy Women carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

Recreates Gucci Envy's green floral formula reasonably closely, though the oakmoss-sandalwood base is thinner and less chypre-rich than the 1997 original's more sophisticated drydown.

About

GU96 opens with bergamot, freesia, pineapple, magnolia and peach, echoing Envy's fruity-green top, before a lily-of-the-valley, hyacinth, jasmine, iris, violet and rose heart, closing on oakmoss, jasmine, cedar, musk and sandalwood. It's a fair attempt at one of Gucci's most enduring 90s green florals, keeping the fresh-floral-chypre balance recognisable. The oakmoss reads lighter here, losing some of the mossy, slightly bitter-green edge that gives the original its sophistication, and the drydown settles into a more generic musky-floral rather than a true chypre.
