MATCH Perfumes Similar to Libre - No.15 is an Eau de Parfum. Similar to Libre - No.15 opens with Bergamot, Mandarin, and Lavender, settles into a heart of Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Lavender, and Orchid, and dries down to a base of Vetiver, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, and Ambergris. MATCH Perfumes's Similar to Libre - No.15 carries an Acquired verdict, a aromatic-led wear.

A softer take on YSL's Libre - the lavender-orange blossom pairing is recognisable and true to the original's aromatic-floral idea, but it misses the sharp, peppery ambroxan crash that gives the real Libre its distinctive barbershop edge, settling instead into a gentler, shorter-lived floral.

About

Match Perfumes' No.15 takes on one of YSL's most distinctive modern releases: the lavender-and-orange-blossom contrast that made Libre stand out. The citrus-lavender opening here is a fair likeness, fresh and slightly peppery, though it lacks the fizzy intensity of the original's ambroxan-driven crash. The heart brings jasmine, orange blossom and a soft orchid accord that reads close to the source, if a touch simpler and less textured. The vanilla-vetiver-tonka base is pleasant and warm but doesn't reach the ambergris-laced depth of the real Libre, and performance is noticeably shorter - expect a light, close-to-skin presence after 3-4 hours where the original can hold 6-8. A good introduction to the lavender-vanilla genre at a fraction of the cost, best for those who want the concept rather than an exact match.
