Mirror XLV opens aromatic and spicy with lavender, cardamom, clary sage, juniper and pink pepper over a soft benzoin warmth - the more textured, masculine intro of Amouage Reflection 45 Man. The heart is the signature: a powdery, soapy bloom of iris, jasmine and neroli laced with vanilla and tonka for a creamy lift. The base settles into elegant woods and resins - sandalwood, cedar, patchouli, vetiver, olibanum and myrrh. Perfume Parlour's version captures that polished, gentleman-in-a-tailored-suit refinement of the original. Against the real Reflection 45 it reads simpler and skin-closer - the iris less buttery, the spice less nuanced, and projection more reserved where the original holds a quietly confident scent bubble for hours.
