Phantom Legion starts with bright lemon zest and a touch of lavender, an unusually fresh start for a scent that turns out darker. The core is earthy, with patchouli, smoke and a surprising crisp apple adding a modern twist. It is a heart that is more interesting than comfortable. The dry down is smooth and seductive: rich vanilla and grounded vetiver, with the smoke still in the air.
