Wales Perfumery Celt is a Parfum launched in 2025, created by Louise Smith. Celt settles into a heart of Resins and Honey, and dries down to a base of Ebony, Leather, Amber, and Tobacco. Wales Perfumery's Celt carries an Acquired verdict, a musk-led wear.

A dark, honeyed Parfum of resins, tobacco and leather over amber and ebony. The few wearers who have written about it disagree on strength, so how long it lasts is an open question.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Celt is the Parfum in Wales Perfumery's Celts range, a series that gives each ancient Celtic people its own scent. This one looks to Brittany, the strongest surviving Celtic region in Europe, and it reads dark, honeyed and deliberately heavy. There is no bright opening to speak of. The heart is honey over resins, and the base settles into tobacco, leather, amber and ebony wood. It starts rich and stays rich, closer to a leather armchair than a garden. The few wearers who have written about it disagree on strength. One found a cool, camphor-like start, then damp tobacco with dry woods and resins, and thought it too quiet. Another found it strong and boozy, with a honeyed tobacco character, compliments and a trail on skin that lasted. With so little to go on, how long it lasts and how far it travels cannot be stated with confidence. Wales Perfumery ties each scent in the range to a place and a people. The brand presents Celt as a story of endurance, and the scent matches that with weight rather than lightness. It suits anyone who likes honey, tobacco and leather in a dense, old-world mix. A sample on skin is the sensible first step.
