Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Star, or Seren in Welsh, is an Eau de Parfum from Wales Perfumery's Natur collection. It takes its cue from the clear night skies above Monmouth: sparkling but calm. It opens with yuzu and citron, then settles into a heart of green tea, jasmine, magnolia and water lily. Sandalwood, tonka bean and ambrette seed make a soft, faintly sweet base. The idea is a bright start that quietens into something airy and floral. Three wearers have written about it and they diverge. One found it light on skin and said it gave more atmosphere than identifiable notes. Others mention a sweet, citrusy opening and a sweet-shop sweetness in the dry-down. That is not enough to describe a typical level of longevity or reach, and it shows the sweetness may be more noticeable on some skin than the brand's description suggests. Star suits wearers who want a gentle, luminous citrus and white-floral scent rather than a bold one. A sample worn for a full day is the best way to see whether it stays light or turns sweet on you.
