Wales Perfumery Coast is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2022, created by Louise Smith. Coast opens with Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, and Lime, settles into a heart of Seaweed and Ozonic Notes, and dries down to a base of Driftwood, Amber, and Moss. Wales Perfumery's Coast carries an Acquired verdict, a fresh-led wear.

A zesty citrus and seaweed Eau de Parfum with an airy, salty feel. Wearers agree it smells fresh, but there is too little to say how long it lasts or how far it carries.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Coast is an Eau de Parfum from Wales Perfumery's Natur collection, which turns Welsh landscapes into scents. This one is named for the moment you step onto the shore: salty air, open sky and the sea ahead. The opening is a sharp cluster of lemon, lime, mandarin and bergamot. The heart brings seaweed and an ozonic, watery freshness, and the base softens into amber, driftwood and moss. It is clean and airy rather than sweet, and the sea notes keep it from reading as a plain citrus cologne. The few wearers who have written about it agree on the freshness. One describes zesty salt air and says the citrus lasted longer than expected. Another liked it but felt the dry-down on a paper card moved towards Kenzo Homme Marine. That is enough to describe the character with some confidence, but not to promise a particular longevity or reach. Coast suits anyone drawn to marine freshness with a woody backbone rather than a sugary one. The seaweed is the part most likely to divide opinion, so trying it on skin is the best way to judge how it sits for you.
