Silures

Silures is an Eau de Parfum from Wales Perfumery's Celts range, named for the fierce Celtic tribe of south-east Wales. The brand pictures a people who fought hard and feasted well, and the scent reads as a celebration: sweet but weighty, fruity but grounded. The heart is where the feast happens, with osmanthus, blackberry and a baked cake accord. The base is warm and resinous, with vanilla, guaiac wood, oak, resins and nutty notes. There is no separate fresh opening, so the sweetness arrives at once and stays. Three wearers have written about it. One describes caramelised butter, sugar, spice, vanilla and brandy in a warm, cake-like scent. Another found the cake accord sweet and long-lasting and said other people noticed it. A third praises the gourmand character without saying how long it lasted. Together they support the central gourmand impression, but they are too few to set a general level for longevity or reach.
